The Notre Dame motto is to “play like a champion today” and they finally did that by finally playing a full 48 minutes of football by knocking off #15 ranked Michigan State 30-13.
My clients also made some championship $$$ today as we had a PERFECT 3-0 day with our 5 unit hammer on Notre Dame and 2 unit winner on Wisconsin. The Atlanta Braves also got on track as Tim Hudson was brillant by proving he one of the major leaders in the Braves clubhouse with 9 innings of shutout baseball. The Braves won 1-0 this afternoon and with the Phillies knocking off St. Louis the Braves now hold a 4 1/2 game lead in the NL Wild Card race.
Notre Dame was absolutely due for this type of performance today, and that was the main reason I made it a 5 unit selection. This team is talented and despite the criticism, Brian Kelly can coach with the best of them. They have averaged nearly 500 yards of total offense in losses to South Florida and Michigan. Yet 10 total turnovers were there undoing. I knew that would not continue.
For Wisconsin, well I’ll just be honest, it’s hard to not like them each and every week with what they’re getting from Russell Wilson. This is an entirely different team and it has ability to put a MAJOR points. I love picking team that can score points in BUNCHES.
