Huge opening weekend for in the NFL for my players as my early season 5 unit play was on target as the Eagles thumped the St. Louis Rams 31-13!
Michael Vick was exactly what Andy Reid expected him to be when signed him to his $48 million guaranteed extension. Vick rushed for 98 yards and LeSean McCoy was outstanding as well rushing for 2 TDs.
The self proclaimed “Dream Team” is off to a great start towards a Super Bowl run. However, a gigantic Sunday night game awaits against SI’s preseason Super Bowl winner the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons looked absolutely dreadful in their opening game loss in Chicago to the Bears 30-12. Yesterday’s thumping dropped the Falcons all the way to 30/1 odds to win the Super Bowl.
The Detroit Lions capped a perfect day for my clients. Matthew Stafford put on a complete show throwing for 301 yards hitting 20 out of 27 targets as the Lions proved they just might be the under the radar team that everyone expects in 2011 by holding of the Bucs 27-20.
