Well the preseason #1 team for the 2011-2012 season has been just decided for college basketball as outstanding forward Harrison Barnes has announced he will return to North Carolina for his sophomore season. This is an amazingly mature decision by Barnes considering that many NBA draft analysts had him going #1 overall.
Barnes really stepped up his game down the stretch as he led to the Heels to the Elite Eight before being ousted by SEC power Kentucky. With the return of Keith Marshall to Chapel Hill as well, I like North Carolina to win it all next season.
