Always Trust the System!!!!

I’m pretty sure my clients had a near heart attack on Sunday morning when they checked their inbox and noticed that the Road Dog system play was on the San Francisco Giants.  The Giants had been abysmal the entire week.  They lost 3 of 4 at home to the Braves and had just lost two straight to the pathetic Houston Astros.  On the top of that, they were shutout in Friday night’s contest 6-0.

But when I say trust the system, I mean trust the system! 

The Giants came through on Sunday.  In an extra inning showdown the San Francisco avoided the sweep as Pablo Sandoval pounded a 2 run homer in the 11th inning to give the Giants a 6-4 win.  It also must have been a relief for Giants fans to see Brandon Belt end his recent 0-13 skid.  The young 1B hit a 3 run second inning homer to get the Giants off to the right start.  San Francisco was also able to get some help from the Braves who swept the NL West leading Arizona Diamondbacks.  So despite nearly getting swept out of Houston, the Giants gained a game on the D-Backs this weekend.  They only trail by 1.5 games.

The win keeps by Road Dog system UNDEFEATED in 2011!!!  So despite how ridiculous a pick may seem.  NEVER DOUBT MY SYSTEM!!!!

The Philadelphia Phillies suffered a heartbreaker last night.  Considering this team has the best record in baseball Philly fans find this awfully hard to come by. 

However, there was much controversy last night as Charlie Manuel left Roy Halladay in through the 9th inning after giving up two hits to face Arizona’s Justin Upton.  Upton would indeed deliver as the D-Backs rallied to take Game 1 of the 3 game set 3-2. 

However, you revenge was on the mind tonight as Cliff Lee responded tonight and was flawless in the Phillies 9-2 win.  Lee has been unstoppable in the 2nd half of the season with an era of 1.82.  It’s hard to fathom anyone stopping this team when October hits. 

Also, don’t forget about the back end of the bullpen led by Ryan Madison.  The Phils need not even worry about Brad Lidge returning now or next season mind you.  They have their answer with Ryan Madison.

The St. Louis Cardinals capped a 2-0 night as Allen Craig replacing the injured Lance Berkman belted two dingers in his first game off the DL to give the Cardinals over the Pirates tonight at PNC Park.

Giants are Rolling Again!

After Friday’s disappointing 2-1 loss to Florida to start the weekend series, the Giants season was tailspinning out of control.  They had lost 6 of 9 and three of those games were humilating losses to the best in baseball the Philadelphia Phillies. 

After another subpar performance Friday night you would think Bruce Bochy would be downright irate at the play of his team.  Think again!  Bochy told his guys to loosen up and have fun on the ball field.  Bochy emphasised that he thought his players were playing too tight.  Mr. Manager was absolutely correct.

The Giants have responded, and we made our clients BIG WINNERS on Saturday with RoadDog Special play on the Giants in their 3-0 win over the Marlins. 

In Sunday’s contest Cody Ross and Pablo Sandavol both went yard as the Giants took the series with a 5-2 win.  More importantly, the wins on Saturday and Sunday allowed the Giants to cut the Wild Card deficit with Atlanta from six to four games within a matter of two days.

The Giants now will travel to “The Ted” for a gigantic four game series starting Monday.  The Braves are struggling with their starting pitching as Tommy Hanson and Jair Jurjens are both injured (Jurjens will indeed start Wednesday).  Plus, Derek Lowe has been horrendous this season with an ERA near 5.00.  It sounds to me like a prime opportunity for the Giants to put some serious heat on the Braves.

Avoid these mistakes during football season!

Mistake #1. Too much action

Betting on too many games happens to the best sports bettors.  You get on a hot streak so you bet more games.  It’s a bit counter intuitive but you actually increase your odds by betting on fewer games. It’s easier to 2 for 2 than 8 for 8 in a single day.  I’ve always thought people who bet too many games are trying not to lose versus trying to make a profit.

 

Mistake #2. Betting on a hunch or a feeling

The most common mistake made by recreational sports bettors is betting on a “feeling” or following there “gut”.  While this strategy might work short term, remember, numbers never lie!  If you want long term success in sports betting you MUST follow the numbers. You must bet on the match ups that give you “Odds Worth Betting”.

 

Mistake #3. Doing it yourself

Truth be told, unless you got hours upon hours each day it’s virtually impossible to keep up and gain a competitive edge much less trying to exploit the odds for a profit.  Think of it like this… When you deal in stocks and funds who do you see?  A stock broker.  When you deal with a mortgage who do you deal with?  A mortgage broker.

You go to these people because you trust them…

They’re trained…

They’re experts!

So shouldn’t it only make sense when you deal in sports you deal with a sports handicapper!

Mistake #4. Betting because the game’s on TV

No doubt, watching a game make the game more intense and fun to watch… but it’s a bad idea to bet on a game just because it’s on TV. Do yourself and your bankroll a favor keep recreational bets…  Just that recreational.

 

Mistake #5. Betting on “your” team

Never… Never… NEVER… bet on a team because it’s your favorite team or it’s your home town team.  Always bet on a games for one reason… You have odds worth betting.

 

Mistake #6. Bankroll management

Bankroll management is never an exciting subject.   I’ve never met a sports bettor who gets a rush out of talking about bankroll management but the difference between long term success and short term success is bankroll management.  I suggest my clients risking 1-3% of your bankroll per bet.  As your bankroll grows so does the amount per bet. Mistake #7. Too many spread parlays

There’s a reason parlays pay 3:1, 5:1 and upwards of 10:1 Because the odds of winning a parlay compared to a straight bet are tough. Over the course of time you might win a parlays but you will definitely lose more than you win.

 

Mistake #8. Speculating on psychology

Do not over estimate the phycology factor. I hear sport analysts and other handicappers use it way too much… “This game is a MUST WIN!” Listen, I’ve never saw a team on the roed who shows up to lose.

 

Mistake #9. Not enough research

The one thing that seperates a professional from a recreational bettors is due diligence. Ignoring injuries, weather, trends and other key factors will almost always lead to you putting your money on more losers than winners.

 

Mistake #10. Betting just to bet

NEVER bet on a game just to bet. There’s plenty of games the odds makers pay less attention to which give you “Odds worth betting”.

Free College Football System

Here’s a free College Football System you can use this 2011-2012 season.  It’s a very simple and effective system that’s had a winning strike rate of 71% for the past 5 years.   There are two steps you must follow.

1) How to detect when a matchup qualifies for the system and bet it
2) The exceptions, when game does not qualify

Also, in this guide I’m going to give you an example of exactly how this system works.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me, it’s my job to make sure you’re putting money on winners!  So let’s get right into it.

How to find a game that qualifies:

  •  Find a team who’s favored on the road.
  •  The team on the road must be on less than six days rest.
    •  You’re going to bet the home team underdog.

When to avoid a game:

  • Avoid a match up if a key offensive player either does not start or is injured.
    (Key positions; Quarter back, running back, tight end, wide receiver)
  • Avoid a match up if there’s a shift in weather.
    (It’s usually rain but snow and wind can play a BIG factor in football)

The idea is to bet teams who’s schedules are disrupted, thus, a team’s normal schedule cut short between games.  A team normally
has set practice days, film days and walk throughs before game day.

When a team’s pattern is disrrupted between games players are not getting their normal practice time in before the next game nor studying film.  This can become HUGE mental and physical factor for a team especially on the road.  Most of these selections will fall on a Thursday.  Although on occasions these games will be throughout the week too.

Add this system to your arsenal!  Watch for these games throughout the season, practice wise bankroll management and turn a nice profit this season.

 

Example:

On 9-19-2009 Mississippi was playing at South Carolina. Mississippi was favored in the game by 4 points. Mississippi’s previous matchup  was against SE Louisiana

 

on 9-24-2009. In this case since Mississippi is favored on the road with less than 6 days since their previous game your bet will be on South Carolina +4.

Final Score – Mississippi 10 South Carolina 16.

Chipper Jones Come Through!

Chipper Jones came through in a big way yesterday for my clients as he hit a two out single in the top of the 9th to give the Braves a 6-5 series win over the New York Mets.

Jones’ hit and Craig Kimbrell’s 9th inning save gave my customers a 2-0 weekend as we continue our dominating run through the the MLB season.

The Braves must be glad to have Chipper back.  Despite his day to day the last few years, the guy simply comes through when he’s on the field.  Just this season alone Chipper is hitting .362 with runners in scoring position.  He is a tremendous value for this baseball club.  The Braves despite being 9 1/2 games back of the Phillies are still in good shape for the Wild Card.  They have a 3 1/2 game lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
