It is expected that thr Big 12 will break up with the PAC 10 expecting to add six teams to become the PAC 16 and the Big 10 adding five to get to the 16 number.
Another wild card in all of this is the SEC. While SEC Commissioner Mike Slive has been mum throughout the whole process, many close to the commissioner are speculating that bids could be extended to the likes of FSU, Miami, Va Tech, Clemson, or Ga Tech severely crippling the ACC.
